Complacent Christians Anonymous
(find us on Facebook ->)
We have experienced just how devastating complacency is to the Kingdom of God. Therefore we focus on becoming disciples as defined by Jesus. Our biblical beliefs are very simple. We believe that God would rather us catch the spirit of the Bible and discover the life applications rather than be staunchly engrossed in doctrines and theologies (though doctrines and theologies have their place). We have discovered that Gods grace allows us to bury the sins of our past so that we can freely serve Him as He calls.
Our idea on church is to be "Authentically small and evangelically large". Our teachings are Bible based, life applicable, and intentionally challenging.
We are driven in the pursuit of following the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, endeavoring to implement teachings such as;
Luke 14: 26-27, 33
"If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple ... So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple."
38 If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. 39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.
